Standard 0.5 in or Deep 1.0 in? Picking a Glidra Depth

Short answer: pick Deep 1.0 in if fish oil or large supplements are in your daily stack. Otherwise Standard 0.5 in is enough.

Both versions of the Glidra weekly pill organizer share the same footprint — 8 in long × 1.5 in wide, seven compartments, one sliding lid each. The only difference is compartment depth: 0.5 in versus 1.0 in. Doubling the depth roughly doubles the volume per compartment. (Specifications as of 2026-08-27.)

How to decide in thirty seconds

Put one compartment's worth of pills in your palm. If the pile sits flat and low, Standard holds it. If anything in the pile is a fish oil softgel, a large magnesium or calcium tablet, or a probiotic capsule — or if the pile stands taller than a stacked pair of quarters — go Deep.

The problem people run into with a shallow case is not that items do not fit. It is that a pill sits proud of the rim and gets caught when the lid slides. A lid that will not close all the way is a lid that opens in a bag.

Two more things that change the answer

  • You portion morning and evening. Fourteen portions across seven compartments doubles what each one has to hold. Deep, or two Standard cases.
  • The case lives in a bag, not a nightstand. Standard is 1.0 in tall overall and disappears into a pocket. Deep is 1.5 in and reads as a real object in a small purse.

Both depths come in Navy, Olive, Beige, and Pink, and case and lid colors are chosen separately, so the combination is yours. Every case is 3D printed to order in New York from imported plant-based PLA, a bioplastic made from fermented plant sugars.

Not child-resistant. Keep out of reach of children.
